Join multifaceted author Tom Peek and liberate the writer within you at the 15th-anniversary edition of the Volcano Art Center’s Annual Writer’s Retreat in Volcano from Thursday through Sunday, June 20- 23, at Kilauea Military Camp.
This workshop is for writers of all levels and genres, with no writing experience necessary. Improve the emotion, depth and potency of your work. Overcome barriers that limit vision and impede writing. Tap into the creative “right brain,” where personal associations, metaphors and hidden meanings lie.
The workshop will be held at KMC over the summer solstice weekend in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Tuition cost is $375 and includes nine meals and supplies. Private and shared rooms are available for additional cost. The retreat is restricted to 12 students. This class is supported by the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
